The CQCB Was Invited to Attend China-Brazil Trade and Investment Seminar

       In order to promote economic and trade exchanges between China and Brazil and cope with the new challenges posed by the COVID-19 epidemic, the China-Brazil Business Council held the china-Brazil Trade and Investment Seminar and the Annual meeting of the Council on 10 November.Leaders of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), leaders of relevant ministries and commissions, heads of relevant government departments such as The Brazilian Embassy in China, heads of relevant Brazilian business associations, representatives of China-Brazil business circles and news media were invited to attend the meeting, and Mr.Tony Wen,the deputy general manager of our company attended the meeting on behalf of our company.

 

        Zhang Shaogang, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Li Bo, Vice Mayor of Chongqing, Paolo Valle, Brazilian Ambassador to China, addressed the meeting. Afterwards, representatives from the industry, including Luis Neves, chairman of the Brazil-china Entrepreneurs Committee and former Brazilian Ambassador to China, made speeches to discuss the opportunities, challenges and risks of China-Brazil cooperation in the post-epidemic era. After the discussion, a brief council meeting was held. Finally, a question-and-answer session was set up for participants to answer questions freely.

 

        During the meeting, the CQCB, as the only representative of Chongqing enterprises, made a speech. Mr.Tony Wen ,the deputy general manager introduced the development history, main business and current development situation of CQCB, especially the import and export business of CQCB meat products.In view of the strong consumer demand in China and the stabilization of the epidemic in Brazil, our company hopes to establish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship with high-quality meat product suppliers in Brazil through the platform of China-Brazil Business Council.
